Tove L: The easiest way to extend the baseboard vertically if you don't want to remove and redo it
lindell0392: Just want to thank you for the thread, the pictures, and the story! Planning for similar work so it's helpful even 3 years later. How do you experience any smell?
Ollwal: Hello! Which dimension did you choose and how did it turn out? :)
BirgitS: If water gets on the floor, it will seep through the joints between the tiles on the floor and spread laterally inside the adhesive and on/in the concrete. If there is only waterproofing in the corner between the floor and the wall, the water on/in the concrete will move under the waterproofing and reach the wall. If you want to protect the drywall 100%, you need to have waterproofing over the
naikon: [citat] Maybe it's worth a try! [citat] The outermost wallpaper is very carelessly done, filled with large air bubbles and gaps at the seams. So it has to go unfortunately. Otherwise, of course, I would have just painted over it.
Phasio: I am searching for the Weber products rep 04, 45, 980. I have removed my slate tiles from my concrete stairs and plan to build a new surface. Why is it practically impossible to find these products? Is it because stores have to buy at least a pallet and that they are practically not sold, or what could be the reason?
Jorel03: You only need to fill the hole with superglue, then you can screw them back in.
fribygg: Two by five with a span of three meters and a distance of one meter holds, you just have to hang with your hands on a joist laid on its edge and try, if you like the flex and want to lie and cozy up on the sleeping loft with a three-meter span, that's another question.
Floskar: [citat] Okay, I'm bad at explaining. It's now leaning towards glued laminated timber 42x270.
JK87: So that it doesn’t move. So that it doesn’t sag.
BirgitS: Fix intended for natural stone, e.g., this one: https://www.xlbygg.se/privat/produkt/fastmassa-naturstenfix-vit-20kg/ Provided that the substrate is one of those mentioned there. This grout can be up to 20 mm wide: https://www.bauhaus.se/multifog-lip-gra-5-kg It says it can be used for natural stone. But maybe too dark?
Suvi5700: If the old roof is to be removed, cut them with the angle grinder.
viklar03: My walls are not quite thick plaster, but they are made of lightweight concrete, and the nail gun works surprisingly well. I have the impression that the nails bend when they go into the plaster and hold better because of that.
fribygg: [citat] If windbreaker paper is too delicate, you might consider underlay paper
Intet: As a plumber long ago, we tore out villa boilers and insulation with great enthusiasm. We stuck the knife into the insulation and ripped it open without any protection whatsoever. Much later, when I realized that there was asbestos panic among an unfortunate group of people, I asked my old colleagues if they or anyone they knew of had been affected by "asbestsjador." None. Not a single one has.
gmogmo: [citat] Build it on piers at the front and back edge. There's no need to anchor it to the facade. That way, you can also move it when you need to paint the window.
fribygg: [citat] It seems a bit unnecessary to buy tools for that little bit of wall, use what you have and borrow a plug machine for the floor if you don't have it.
Snikkarn: [citat] Just as short ears, and therefore useless
Johanna_jojo123: [citat] Yes, it was probably a bit moldy. So it has been thrown away.
krambriw: Painted the year after the installation with real paint from Jotun, it was diluted with white spirit.
BirgitS: The little one sees of the roof trusses looks like truss roof trusses, which are self-supporting if they are properly dimensioned. But in addition to load-bearing walls, there are stabilizing walls, which, for example, limit how much the house moves when it's windy. There are already very few walls in that building structure, so if you remove even more, you might get a house that creaks a lot
sepani: [citat] It will be good, but it took a lot of time to notch the posts🐗😳
Hunneberg: [citat] Ok that sounds good, there shouldn't be any water coming down from the sides or puddles on the floor. Thanks for your answer!
Felix Arvsell: Hej! Renoverar vårt kök hemma! Hade äran att få lite överblivet kakel av min kära mormor. Nu har kaklet tagit slut men kaklingen är inte över! Någon som har detta kakel hemma? Känner till någon återförsäljare?
Inteno-: Hello The floor in the basement of the new house is poured, and underfloor heating is embedded. However, it's not poured in a storage room under the stairs, and I now want it to be at the same level as the rest of the basement. There is a difference of approximately 10 cm including the tiles that are laid. My question is how do I pour this to the same level and what material should I use? I also
Hoff83: [citat] Thank you, I'll fix it then. I'll put a piece of board there too.
Pålern: Thank you for your response! We have removed three layers of wallpaper, so the next layer is an old full spackling. Under that, we believe there are two more layers of wallpaper. Where it has been loose or bubbly, we have taken everything down all the way to the aerated concrete. The idea is to prime this so that nothing else comes off before we full spackle again.
