jonaserik: Take what you want, lightweight concrete/leca/brick and use what you have in the storage, plaster mortar/lime mortar or similar, it works well for patching. You can, if you want, put a thinner part on the outside to be plastered, have a piece of styrofoam or rockwool between the outer and inner masonry, it will then provide extra insulation for the hole.

KJD: thought about it too, but it's soft lightweight concrete in the wall (only) and a little afraid that the rebar will tear apart the blocks, also see in other places that for example drain pipes are "hung"/supported by smooth copper pipes. KJD: I found some products when I tried searching with "slutbleck," my following issue was that I didn't want to make holes in the sheet metal, as moisture could seep in there, and my repaired door sill is no longer hardwood. patrikd84: Download Tibnor's construction tables, at the end there are dimensioning tables. 80 kN in total load should mean that you have calculated a design load that you need to transfer at 80 kN/4.2 m = 19 kN/m. 4.2 m is not in the tables, but the nearest larger is 4.8 m. So the smallest profile that can be chosen according to the tables is HEB200 but is likely to be somewhat over-dimensioned.

droopy: Forestia, which manufactures floor particle boards, states that the vapor barrier should be placed UNDER the floor particle board. So if you follow the manufacturer's advice, there is nothing wrong with having the plastic under the floor particle board. Chippe: It is possible to screw the trim into the door and window frame, but you might not want to. Adhesive holds well; I glued trim around wooden windows many years ago, and they are still there. I think I used construction adhesive or something else for outdoor use.
