Previously purchased Fischer UX in packs of 100 at Hornbach, which worked well for both concrete walls and plaster walls. Unfortunately, Hornbach switched to some plug from TOX that looks like the lousy plugs I bought at Ikea in my youth.
What do you recommend for plugs available in "bulk packs"?
Or does anyone know where I can buy Fischer in bulk without going broke? 🤔

Quite expensive but Fischer UX is available at Proffsmagasinet. Shipping is added if you purchase for under 625kr. https://www.proffsmagasinet.se/mask...hannable=014c87736b750033303039333632cb&VAT=1
I was lucky and found a box of Fischer SX 10x60 in the garage yesterday. 👍

Good tips!
I'll remember for next time I shop there!

I usually buy Fischer plugs on Amazon. For my walls, I prefer Duopower, but I also saw they had UX.

Edit:
Apparently, there is also a variant with a collar, UX-R:

I hadn't thought about Amazon!
It was actually UX-R that I used most often.
Have you compared the plugs or why do you prefer duopower?

These are my favorites right now. The extra length makes them a bit forgiving if you drill a little poorly.

Previously, they were also available in 6mm, but I can't find them at Hornbach anymore.

No, I haven't compared them.13th Marine said:
I bought a pack of Duopower in desperation and it turned out that they adhere better than anything else I had tried so far in my troublesome walls (brittle plaster, hollow concrete block, and to some extent brick). Since then, I've continued to use them. I also remember that they work in the siporex walls in the garage where I previously had to use chemical anchors or lightweight concrete screws. Not so fun with chemical anchors or a 10 mm lightweight concrete screw when you're putting up a wall socket or a hook though...
Previously, I've tried regular red plugs and some gray plugs of different brands. The common factor with these is that they tend to detach from the wall with the slightest load. Duopower, however, has worked in all situations, even in the same drill holes as the aforementioned plugs.

Sounds a bit like my experience before I discovered UX, but I don't think Duopower existed then. 🤔J johan_81 said:No, I haven't compared them.
