Load-bearing wall Boro house from '86
Hi, I am in the process of tearing down a wall at home and have a question about what is load-bearing. I have done some googling but I thought I would ask the question here as well. I have taken pictures of the house plans and also a picture where I have marked in red the wall I am planning to take down and in blue the one that runs in the middle of the house, which I interpret as the heart wall?? In the crawl space, there is a large concrete "foundation" or however you might describe it in the middle of the house approximately where the blue line is drawn, if that is of any help.
Red ring is a non-load bearing wall (99.9%). If you have W-trusses, there's probably not much pressure on the blue encirclement either.
Looks like that in the attic
👍 you have self-supporting roof trusses.
