This crappy paint from Jula is my own fault for buying, as it... made the items rust! Almost a parody.

I was going to rust-proof some window hinges. Carefully removed all the peeling old paint and rust. Let them dry well indoors. Completely dry, they looked like new, I was very pleased! OK, but now we can't cut corners here, let's make sure to have some primer on first before the topcoat.

Followed the instructions carefully, applied a thin layer with a brush, no excess, let them dry in a well-ventilated place indoors. When I came back the next day, new rust had appeared through the paint!

I'm not an expert in the sense that I've earned any titles, but I've dealt with many cars, rusty what so ever. It's actually hard to even come up with a plausible scenario except that a summer worker mixed in hydrochloric acid instead of phosphoric acid in the paint.

Water on metal...
Probably only works on RF, acid-resistant!
