Air gap

Renovating a cabin and will have Cc 1250 on the roof trusses, my question is how to create the air gap.
The air gap boards that can be purchased are for Cc 1200🤔

Should the boards be placed on the rafters or between them?
On the rafters, buy boards that are 250 and cut them in half.
Between the rafters, there is standard 3 mm or thick 6 mm masonite that is 122, cut off 15 mm

Ventilation gap boards are typically only placed between the rafters since they should be a few cm below, right?

You only place ventilation gap boards between the rafters since they should be a few centimeters below?

It's quite labor-saving to place them on top and then add a suitable batten as a ventilation gap before the sheathing.

It is quite labor-saving to place them on top and then lay a suitable batten as an air gap before the boarding.

And even more time is saved if you build with outdoor gypsum on the wall because then you go up with it and fold it in between the rafters!
