Gornoth: if you plan to have a ceiling molding, you can leave a small gap between the drywall and the ceiling panel and apply an acoustic sealant there, which can further reduce sound transmission. However, in a single-family house, just having insulation in the wall and floor structure should be sufficient.

Stefan N: The seams are almost certainly going to crack, unfortunately. Also, it shouldn't be fine filler but medium. If the wall is uneven, you fix it with broad spackling, and for the corners, you use corner protectors so they're not so sensitive to impacts. You use latex in the inner corners.

Forbo: Used expanding foam on some tricky spots to seal the plastic... noticed that it adheres poorly to the plastic, so it's not a good idea. However, the foam is diffusion-tight if it's thick enough, so it can seal uncertain areas... otherwise, it's glue, tape, and clamp...(Staples with tape over them during installation and then clamp if possible...)

Danneå: I think it looks good... easiest to work with interior walls when the roof and floor are in place... you can change the layout later too... just need to keep track of studs in the ceiling/walls... Just one little thing... have you considered chipboard in the walls instead of OSB? Chipboard is cheaper...

jävla_hus: Ventilating the air gap may not always be entirely correct; stagnant air is a reasonably good insulator, while moving air will vent out the heat that leaks out and thus provide no insulation. I could also imagine that when ventilating the air gap, cold air comes in, causing the moisture in the outer wall to freeze, leading to cracks. D

I'm planning to put up a fairly heavy shelf - and of course, I don't want to worry about it falling down. I'll be using two brackets. Each bracket has three holes for the wall. So that means three drywall anchors for each bracket... Which maybe means it will be very strong after all?

Knifv: At my company, we always bond the aerated concrete with adhesive, super smooth. Then we plaster with regular plaster mortar. For an optimal surface, I recommend priming the entire aerated concrete surface with a thin layer of mortar, to later apply the final plaster.
