Kretikos: [citat] I can't remember the brand unfortunately, it was a few years ago. Bought at Ekesiöö in Bromma before they became Bejer. I would guess it was about 6x160.

justusandersson: A bit difficult to comment when one doesn't know what you're looking for. Personally, I would never consider casting two intermediate floors in concrete in a small house. That you use alternating wood and light concrete for walls, I can't see any problems with.

Alfredo: [citat] I would think so, but it should become weaker and weaker. How long it takes, I wouldn't dare to guess. [citat] Absolutely a good way to speed up the drying process, but hardly necessary. Ventilation and time will probably do the job, even if not as quickly.

16386: The original drawing shows that your apartment was once a locale of some sort, maybe a store, with two rooms and no kitchen. Exit toward the street, in a window section. The toilet was an outhouse in the courtyard. The locale was later converted into an apartment, with the inner room divided into a kitchen, entrance, and closets/pantry. It's some of these later walls that you're in the process of

I understand what you mean, that maybe it emphasizes the effect of the sagging ceiling, but unfortunately, you can't bend the beadboard that much...We'll see how it looks once everything is in place! At least it will be a fun exercise in how to scribe! What is it called in Swedish, to scribe? So I can search for it more later.

keab: I am planning to plaster a curved base/stair side. It is convex with a radius of 3m, made of "Leca" with a cement mortar slapped on. Does anyone have tips (and preferably experience) on how to achieve the radius in a good way? For example, should one set plaster laths (10-12 mm) that follow the curvature (i.e., horizontal laths) and work at 90 degrees compared to how you plaster a regular wall?

I started calculating freely supported beams and thought about using IPE steel beams in the outer structure against the exterior walls and then laminated wood as the joists.
