Calculate gutter cost

Hi!

I need to replace 8 meters of guttering because a contractor (not a carpenter) accidentally damaged it. But he is willing to pay for it, including the replacement.

What do you estimate a carpenter would charge to replace 8m of guttering including materials? Do not include scaffolding.

Approximately how many hours?

I would be grateful for help, I need to respond by tomorrow.

They calculate at 475kr per meter, but they have a much larger project. Is it reasonable to ask for 475kr in compensation per meter?

It's completely impossible to answer without knowing more. It could be anything from 20 minutes of work to several hours in the worst case.

It's probably best if the craftsman books in the job with someone they are used to working with and handles the invoice when it's done.

It's easily accessible, on a carpenter's shed. You can reach to replace them while standing on a painting stool.

I would like my own carpenter to do it, but he is in another location and can't estimate it right now.
