Hello! We have renovated the basement, excavated and replaced the drainage, etc., so from the ground up it is:

1. Moisture barrier of 2 mm age-resistant plastic
2. Approx. 20 cm EPS concrete
3. Approx. 2 cm leveling compound as a seal
4. Waterborne underfloor heating
5. Approx. 4-5 cm leveling compound above the coils
Now we are going to lay laminate flooring pergo lillehammer and the question is whether I need
a moisture barrier or if paper is enough?

I already have a moisture barrier under the EPS.

I'm thinking that a foam might insulate some of the underfloor heating, so paper would be better?

Grateful for suggestions

99% of the time you should have a moisture barrier underneath, but follow the installation instructions for the floor as it will tell you this.

I am currently laying a Pergo vinyl floor and to transfer the heat most efficiently, Pergo recommended this underlay from their range "pgvudlheat10", the vapor barrier is built-in.

Additionally, I am using the LK EPS 30 system and following the accompanying instructions for which layers should be used in the flooring.

It became Golvmellanlägg Kährs Tuplex. Vapor barrier and sound dampening.
