Fredrik_Gronlund: I have two patio doors 9*20, one right and one left, that I am selling as I am switching to new ones. They are from 1987 and in good condition. Both have blinds and can be locked with a handle on the outside and inside.

Fredrik_hobbyist: Well, aesthetically I would probably vote for lockpanel. But that's just my opinion. Lockpanel generally extends more outward than spåntat. /Fredrik

Fundersam: Have looked around the entire area and so far I haven't found a single house that is built like mine without head joints. I don't really know what the lowest stones are resting on, if it's the frames or not. I haven't examined it that closely yet.

Matti: that they work with headstones is not an obstacle, right? every stone company I know of deals with headstones or did they explicitly say they do nothing else?

KarlXII: What is delivered is usually very fresh and newly printed. Place a press over them so the planks do not dry in the sun. They can warp, and the width can vary - you will notice this when you place them end to end when joining.

IFK: Maybe a somewhat late post... and maybe someone has already mentioned this..? Why not use a tight-standing wood panel where the planks are almost edge to edge (the planks are not beveled)? It depends on what type of house is being built; it might not fit well with a classic-style house, but if it's modern in style, it could be perfect. It gives a fairly smooth impression while exuding a wood

Husbyggaren: There has been some previous discussion about different building materials, but not about the various stone house suppliers. So I still would like to know why you chose a specific stone house supplier and how you think it has gone. I am grateful for any references! //House Builder

jonasmj: Put Marmoroc on dad's house almost 10 years ago. Still looks "new"... Easy to work with and goes up quickly. (you can easily do it yourself) After a year or so, there was some algae growth (moss) on parts of the wall... A bit of "harsh" detergent and a pressure washer, and it was basically gone. If the risk of such growth is high where you plan to install it, just make sure to clean the wall

que: Yes, I thought so, primarily the rough side outwards. I was at the timber yard today, and it seems like there's no specific side that's planed, so you can actually pick 50-50 and get both rough side outwards and both heartwood outwards/inwards as I described earlier.

lastkaj: It's called a trowel and it's not quite the same as a grout smoother. http://www.dinbyggare.se/artiklar/artikel.asp?docid=40 The old damaged joint should be removed and then it should be wetted with water so that the liquid from the new mortar is not absorbed. You already knew everything anyway.... :)

MathiasS: [citat] What you do then is to ignore the plasterboard and instead put up something called fibergips. www.xella.com If only the price of this board is reasonable, I will use this instead of OSB+plasterboard in wet rooms and basements. This board also withstands moisture significantly better than plasterboard (and OSB).

Nix: I made a quick theoretical calculation and ended up with 0.40, which is quite low, considering that I have not accounted for leakage, thermal bridges, etc. So Kalle's 0.50-0.55 holds up well as a practically applicable value against that calculation.

richardw: I'm planning to build a larger deck and am wondering if it's possible to have a center-to-center distance between the deck posts of 2.2m to achieve a nice and even distribution. I'm building around a corner of the house. This way, I'll have 3 posts for the roof, which measures 5m in length, and then an additional 2 low posts for the sun deck. Does anyone have suggestions for center-to-center
