Nail or screw?

What is best, nailing or screwing together a balcony in pressure-treated wood? A carpenter said it doesn't matter except that screwing is more expensive, is he right?

I would probably screw.

You might as well nail the bärreglar (they only need to be fixed in the bärlinan), while railing posts & similar should be screwed with through bolts or the like. As for the trallen, most people screw them in nowadays, but nailing works fine too.

I would also screw as it makes it easier to disassemble and not damage the wood if needed at some point.
