Would be very grateful for some tips and ideas on how to best go about decorating an unfinished basement.

Drained last year and installed thermisol foam next to the house foundation.

I have plans to decorate a room with a shower/bathtub and sauna, as well as a combined TV and bedroom, how should I handle the floors and walls, and how do I avoid moisture...

Another problem is what type of flooring to use in the other parts of the basement, can I lay laminate? They can be quite cold to walk on...

If it had been me, I would have installed underfloor heating in the rooms to be used as living space, plastered the walls, and painted or wallpapered.

I totally agree with El_-micke there. Recently went on a house tour where the owner had renovated the basement, underfloor heating/tiles, and plastered walls in all areas. A much more pleasant experience than the commonly found 'gillestugorna' with dingy wood paneling and moisture penetration.... ;D

How do I handle the slab, isn't there a risk that it will be very expensive to heat with underfloor heating when I don't have any insulation under the slab?

I have a waterborne system, should I go with electric or waterborne underfloor heating?

How much should I account for it building up in height?

We had plans to install hydronic floor heating in our basement. But we were advised against doing so by the HVAC company. Because if you don't dig out the floor and a good bit down into the ground and insulate from below, the heat will go down into the ground and in that way, draw up moisture from the earth. So then you get moisture damage instead in the floor. And even if you would put in so much work by digging out, it could still result in moisture migration up into the floor, he told us.
Then you would also have to keep the floor heating on all year round. Who wants that in the middle of summer?

So we scrapped the whole project to avoid any risk.
