Anonymiserad 23608: Snäckan: Why would it be easier to start with the floor plasterboard? Install the wall plasterboard first. Cut the boards 5-10 mm shorter than the floor-to-ceiling measurement and lift them up to the ceiling, with, for example, a crowbar under the board, when you screw them in place. Then glue the floor plasterboard, which then covers the gap to the floor. Tight and good all around.

Sylvester: Yes, the construction description and delivery description have higher status than the drawing according to my contract. The independent carpenters I've spoken with all say, just like the Engineer, that this is hardly a satisfactory product that I can expect. Hardly professional...
IRONMAIK: Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows what that kind of stand is called that you fold out, it looks like a cross, I think. Anyway, you usually place it over the ridge or around the chimney so you can stand there when renovating or taking down a chimney. I'd be grateful if anyone has a picture, address, or drawing of one. Snailman: About half... I can add that what they show is how to make an inner wall with metal studs and plasterboards with a door in between. So, a wall that separates two rooms, probably not quite what you're looking for?
zingo: There was nothing wrong with the tip. I'll try the masonite trick. But I won't start by ruining the floor. I'll do that last.
zingo: I have OSB + plasterboard and it feels really good. You know that you can hammer anything through the plasterboard into the OSB and it holds like a rock. No special plugs.
Bricky: A jigsaw is probably not an option if you are going to saw where there is a stud behind. I would recommend a small Japanese saw, which I have used for that purpose and many more. It's probably my favorite tool, by the way. Available at CO for a few hundred kronor. A good investment for the renovator :)

GustavW: You measure from finished floor to finished ceiling. If you want 240 cm, you should have a wall height of 250 cm, from the slab to the truss/intermediate floor to have the margins on your side. Floor 2mm foam + 15mm laminate ==> 18mm Ceiling 22mm batten + 13mm plasterboard ==>35mm
