nino: Don't know, but maybe you can drill down iron into the old slab, then lay either mesh or just iron welded into the drilled holes. Maybe chip up cracks in a V shape and dowel in there as well. 4cm is probably on the small side.

turbo100: Hi, I have a greenhouse with polycarbonate sheets on the sides & roof and I'm considering gluing along the profiles. The reason is to seal and also ensure that the plastic doesn't "blow out" if/when the next Gudrun comes (I've read that this can happen). Is it sensible to lay a bead of silicone along the edges (plastic/aluminum-profile edge) or should I use Biltema's BT Multibond?

Hybro: The foundation seems good, not a crack as far as I can see in connection to the house's wall. Well worth renovating. You should try to find the manufacturer of that phenomenally good paint, which has lasted so long. A tip is to stash away the garden hose, already in the autumn. So there won't be any idle watering during the cold season.
