What is this ceiling called and where do they sell it? Please link if you can.
I removed a built-in closet and there was a hole in the ceiling that I need to patch up.

The panels seem to consist of a couple of layers of masonite, it looks like, with some sort of paper structure in between. The panels interlock with each other like paneling.

When I measure between the seams from underneath, they seem to be about 240x39.5 cm.

White ceiling with panel-like boards, measuring approximately 240x39.5 cm, interlocked with each other. Room has partially plastered walls and visible window.

This is what it looks like inside:
Ceiling panel with fiberboard layers and paper structure between, shown from an angle exposing its interior composition and panel interlocking.

Very doubtful if they can be reached.

Nah, that's too bad if so, I have those all over the house. If I can find similar ones with the same width, maybe I can patch it up so it looks okay. It would be annoying to have to tear down the whole ceiling and replace it because of a small hole about 60x40cm.

Agree, hope you find the same type of board. Otherwise, maybe you can fake a similar surface using masonite and some spacers?

You can tear down a room and put drywall there. That way you get an extra layer for all the rooms you need to patch/repair :D

Not a bad idea! I'll try that. Some regular board, try to make something resembling the groove between two such boards, then a bit of filler around and paint, and maybe it can turn out decent.

You don't usually stare up at the ceiling much, and I've noticed that if it just looks reasonably similar and has the same color, it doesn't catch the eye as much. I "faked" a surface like that in the bedroom ceiling where there had also been closets. I don't notice it at all now, and others who don't know about it don't notice that it's actually different ceiling coverings.

Agree (y) I tore down an interior wall with gypsum planks with seams similar to your masonite. Now I have an almost twice as wide plank in the middle of the room. I don't think a single person has noticed it.

Var is place.
Vart is direction.
So, where do they sell (for example, a store that has this ceiling in their assortment) and where do they sell to (for example, to Småland).
