MathiasS: Good evening, I am now clearing the thread of content that does not pertain to melanin. If we want to discuss melanin, we do it in this thread; if not, we let it fade away. Furthermore, this forum is not a place on the Internet where one can "blurt things out" haphazardly. For everyone's comfort, each is requested to follow the forum's rules and behave as gentlemen -and women. Regards,

Bob_the_builder: H-profiles are used, as Mathias writes, for example, when mounting vertical panels on horizontal frameworks. They are not primarily intended as wind sealing but are meant to stiffen the panel edges so they do not break when working with the wall. By the way, I have a bundle left over if anyone is in need of such... It is not necessary to tape joints that lie over a stud.

tjoflojt: Hello! I live in a 1980s house with a facade of beige/light brown mexitegel. I am now putting up a fence with brick posts. For these posts, I am looking for mexitegel of the same color as the house facade. The brick manufacturer has gone bankrupt, so my question is if there is any alternative? I need just under 900 bricks. Thank you, Björn
