By the way, I learned today the best way to utilize trätex...
You tear it into 2*2cm pieces, soak it in "I think it was t-röd" and use it as fire starters.........
One of the smartest things I've heard in a long time.
Ps. I have the whole house full of trätex........ (long live renovation plasterboard) cheers

It's actually quite functional. But you hardly need T-röden, even though it gives an extra boost. Tear the board into smaller pieces, preferably a bit elongated. Toss in a couple of handfuls and add the smaller sticks to the fire, light it up and enjoy.
I've done it with leftovers from Trätex. However, most of it has remained under the plaster on the exterior walls as extra insulation.
The fact that trätex is good as a fire starter says something about the material as a surface material in our houses and rooms. It's incredibly much better with plaster from a fire safety perspective.
