MathiasS: [citat] Ok, I have only seen one size in thickness, two in width.... You learn as long as you live!

daniellindholm: The same! Please tell me how it's going and when any interesting 'project' comes up :)
dax: There will not be a door in the newly built wall. The bathroom will not be done now, so I will wait with that side.
drx: I have also stopped using Molly anchors as they tend to drive me insane. I'm using good plastic anchors and it works perfectly fine.
frenil11: I am going to build new this fall and the facade will be plastered (wood frame structure). I am choosing between Finja Iso-fin and Sto Classic, both colored. I've been indicated that Sto is somewhat cheaper but also slightly thinner. Does anyone have any experiences/advice?? What should one choose? /Fredrik
Fredrik.Aj: Now we have had KA out to look at the tiles and he says exactly like the doge. If the pappen has come loose from the gypsum, it's just to throw it away, otherwise, there’s no problem. Thank you for your answers!
Millimetermannen: Talk to the municipality and the road authority. If they are working on something nearby, they might be quite happy to tip leftover material close to the worksite, which usually becomes free of charge.
Lurvnos: Suggesting house fix. Bites well, easy to sand, and seems weather-resistant too. Easy to work with, becomes a bit "tacky," so it doesn't run off. You can even nail into it when it's dry without it cracking. Not cheap though.
valter53: Advantage of particle board is that it is easier to put up pictures, etc. Disadvantage of particle board is that there is a risk of the wallpaper cracking at the seams.
Framerate: The question is whether it is positive or negative that there are more paranoid people out there? Regarding advantages and disadvantages, the answer is simple: Regardless of which facade you choose, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. :)
Maskot: I might as well answer my own question then..... ;) If anyone (probably no one) is interested, it is actually in stock at Beijers in Vallentuna. ;D
kenneths: Hi, I'm considering using Hagmans roof coating and reinforcement fabric to extend the life of an old felt roof. Does anyone have experience with this? How does it look after a few years? /Kenneth

ruthblad: Hello Opelhenke, There is only one product today that permanently removes mold. Unfortunately, it's not something you apply yourself because it needs to be heated to 70-140 degrees Celsius during application. Many believe it's to kill the mold, but that's not the case. The high temperature is required for the capillary forces to draw the substance into the material and thereby become permanent.
Gutte: We hired a company to spray our facade. We had both plaster and brick on the house when we bought it and thought it looked odd. So the company smooth-plastered the brick part and then sprayed the whole house in a color of our choice. It didn't cost very much. A bonus was that they left the scaffolding for about 1.5 months so we could paint all the bargeboards, windows, and put up new gutters. We
louise-malmsten: I have 6-7 meters to my ceiling. I have built a larger model elk tower that I shall move sideways and anchor to the house plus a lifeline in the house! Best regards, klättermusen

hempularen: Re: paper strips (or fiber strips) on non-recessed joints. It works well, you don't see a bump. I have used a really wide trowel on the final coat, spreading it on both sides so that you get a strip of filler that is 20-30 cm wide on each side. Immediately after the taping, there is a faint "ridge" right over the strip. But after light sanding, it becomes even and you don't see any bump.
BAS: Hello. I have built with Melnox roof panels and need to complement with 4-5 packages. Does anyone know where to get them? They were available at Byggmax about 1/2 year ago, but unfortunately, they seem to have stopped carrying Melnox. The panel is 153x8 mm and 2.6 meters long. Alternatively, does anyone have suggestions for similar roof panels and where to get them? /BAS
Silur: Detached houses: Concrete with foam insulation versus lightweight concrete? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Are there other options? We are considering energy efficiency, indoor climate, and the load-bearing capacity for two-story houses as well as resistance to shocks/wear/hanging lamps/pictures etc.
styrman1: 45x245 is the largest I have seen. Not found in many places.
