Now I have searched and read on the forum and have become much smarter. However, there are still some question marks.
I have two small toilets above each other located closest to the chimney, on the side where the flue from the boiler goes, which gives the toilets heat. Right now, the previous owner has put wallpaper on the chimney, but eventually, it will be redone and tiled.

I get the impression from early threads that you are not allowed to enclose the chimney nearest the flue, which I think sounds sensible. I plan instead to plaster the chimney and tile it, using grout intended for surfaces that change in temperature (as I've heard there is).
Is there anything in principle that speaks against this?
Are you allowed to enclose the chimney on sides where there is only ventilation?

Thank you Builder! Very good answer :)
