Honken_byggare: A tip is nail plug types like brass head or FZB head depending on the trim color, they have a small head. Then you insert the plug inside the trim and tap in the screw and can easily unscrew it if you wish. Lycko: Interesting to read. We have built an Eksjö hus kvadraten house and have lots of timber left over and then there's insulation on the subfloor which is meant for the walls and the ceiling. We might have to buy something extra but it won't be much. We also have lots of timber so we could build a double garage, just saying :) There are certainly about 40 drywall sheets so we are really very pleased

MathiasS: When storing wood in this way, it is very important to allow air to circulate around the planks. Make sure the planks are protected from rain but be careful not to close off the sides and underneath. Periodically, insert spacers so that air can circulate within the stack. betula: It is possible to lay very wide planks if you screw them down on one side and find wide gaps between the boards acceptable in winter. The grooves on the underside are mainly to ensure the plane goes straight and that the planing mill can sell the shavings as energy instead :) Flooring made from properly dried wood does not need grooves on the underside, but it will still shrink and swell in width.

Tommy_S: can you possibly have a spritputs? If you want a slätputs on it, I'm afraid that it will require knocking down the sprit first to a solid base and then plastering again to the desired surface.
