OSB or tongue and groove?

Hi,

I'm building with OSB plus 13mm gypsum. Seems to work well so far. Considering reinforcing further where the kitchen will go up. Does anyone have experience with that?

Hey JRG, those were some expensive OSB boards I must say. I paid 91 plus VAT for mine (Beijer). Considering it takes quite a few, it gets a bit tricky to save.

I also reacted to the price.
We have OSB, mainly because it was cheaper than plyfa.
On it, we have 6mm gypsum (because we decided late on the OSB, so that's what the window reveals, etc., could handle).

And our kitchen is screwed into it.
Has been for two years at least...

Don't look at the unit price - consider the prices for everything you need at once, e.g., a whole pallet of 50 boards.
With volume purchases, the most expensive supplier can suddenly become the cheapest....
