Siberian larch for my wooden façade?

I don't understand why you need lärk for a facade....
Ordinary pine and spruce last forever if they are maintained reasonably...

Skargardsbon do you have any price indication on the larch, from Småland.
I checked for fun and got prices around: 3500 kr/cbm for sawfalling timber (not planed) also in Småland
