Currently, I have a bathroom with 45 studs. To accommodate RiR etc., I need to increase to at least 70 studs. The walls on the "other" side of the stud/studs should/can not be torn down.

What is the best solution?

1) Extend the existing studs with 25 studs (24 battens maybe)
2) Install 70 studs alongside the existing stud(s)

If choosing option 2, how do you best attach the studs to the drywall on the other side?
For option 1, how closely do you need to nail/screw? Would 50 brads work (I have a nail gun)?

1) Sala on sounds easiest, screw glue cc 40 and it will be fine. If you let the glue dry properly, you can use the pickan as well, but if you're in a hurry to continue with gypsum, then screw!

Thanks!!

It will probably be lim o picka.
