Can someone tell me where to find a manual that covers shear force calculations and formwork dimensioning, spacing, and fastening requirements, etc. regarding site-built wall formwork, bridge foundations, and similar?

Over-dimensioning a traditional form that is, say, about 190 meters long can easily become quite laborious...and expensive for that matter. Hrmpf. NO ONE I've talked to at either PEAB, SKANSKA, NCC, VEIDEKKE, or any of the major ones has ever seen such a manual. You'd think it would exist, right?

You could try to find a college that offers some form of building technology education. They should have knowledge of most of the books in the subject.

CBI has a book on form construction that belongs to the course Concrete Class II where traditional dimensioning of both slab tables and wall/column form is covered... Then there are also the tolerances in BBK which can be accessed via the Boverket's website....
