Hello to all,
My Nibe heat pump stops working as soon as it turns cold outside, and it nearly always shows that the fault is " low exhaust temperature " is there anything I can do to stop this happening ?
(Perfectly ok to answer in Swedish)
Cheers
Keith.

Hi! Is the ventilation in the house working as it should? The minimum air-flow is 31 lit./sec. (110 m3/h) at a room temperature of 20 C. What is the fault id no.? With the number it's possible to search on the NIBE site.
Very strange that the fault code is not shown in the 3.4 Alarm log. An alternativ is to create a complete log-file and retrieve that on a USB memeory stick, but unfortunately I'm not familiar with the details. Settings for ventilation is found in menu 5.1.5. Go to the main menu and hold the Back button in for 7 seconds to access the Service menu 5.The User manual and Installer manual can be downloaded from: https://www.nibe.eu/Products/Exhaust-air-heat-pumps/NIBE-F750/#downloads
Hi! Yes it's possible to search with the code on e.g.: https://proffs.nibe.se/Proffs/Larmsokning/ No. 64 is, as we know, "Low Exhaust Temperature" and the cause is that the exhaust temperature has been below 16 °C and not raised above 17°C within 60 minutes. Maybe you keep a low indoor temperature? It's also important that ventilation exhaust pipes are well insulated if installed in cold parts of the building.

Hello there again,
I was up in the loft to check that the exhaust pipe was insulated and it was. But I wrapped it further with 2 sheets of insulation but alas it was off again this morning. The house temperature is cold now 14 degrees, so I am assuming now it would be very difficult for the pump to be able to extract any heat. Other than putting some electric heaters to increase the temperature or should I try anything else ?
