Hej,

I'm going to write in English but feel free to reply as you see fit =)

I'm in the process of planning and starting to build a deck. It's pretty basic, 10mx5m rectangle. 45x170 regel with 600mm cc on plinter (?) which is spaced 1200mm apart.

The question I have...I don't want to attach the barlinor to the house as its brand new and I'm worried about settling. Instead, based on numerous advices, i'm going to offset my plintrad (the one closest to the house) by 50cm to avoid having to worry about drainage or damaging the house foundation when drilling holes for the plint.

The question I have is that there is a 1.5m wide, ~20cm deep layer of makadam (gravel) around the house edge. What is the best way to work with this when using plint? is it to just dig past the gravel and set the plint in the ground below? should I compact the makadam and for this specific plintrad, use plattor instead and perhaps dig away 10cm of makadam, compact and add 10cm of stenmjöl?

thanks for all your tips and help! See supporting images.

I would have used betongplattor instead. Dont do anything with the gravel, just put at betongplatta there and put the regel on.
