Floor

I have some questions about the floor, it would be great if you could help me.
I want to do flooring myself. The current floor of the hallway and kitchen is plastic. Which type of floor is better for this part of the house? And also better and easy installation like parquet or vinyl or laminate. Another question, if I want to make a floor, should I remove the old plastic floor? (Please find the attached file)
It is worth mentioning that in other parts of the house they used wooden parquet.
The type of foundation is: crawl space with lightweight concrete joists. concrete slab on the ground on the low part.
