Is this really professionally done by an experienced carpenter?
After over 20 years of manufacturing timber-framed houses, I know how boxes are secured, and I've installed quite a few myself when the electricians needed help. We use wooden studs and nothing else, and in those, they sit rigidly. Seems like you need to visit real professionals who can secure boxes properly.elmont said:
That looks strange. My husband bought a hole in one when we were plastering the garage and friggebod and it turned out almost perfect every time, you just have to choose the right size and then make sure the plasterboard is in the right place
Is that a real electrician? It takes a lot of extra time if they have to putty and sand? Who's going to pay for that?

Not using a dos router with tools like "hole-in-one" is just incompetently stupid. Not even amateurs take chances today, so why accept this from so-called "pros"?

Sorry. Did not notice that this was an old thread. Of course, I maintain that if one uses proper tools and has the necessary competence for the job, and if one cannot do this, they should refrain.
Of course, professionals use some template, it was just to see how many would react to my post.
Agree 100%. Hole in One is indeed a fantastic thing. Regardless of how unsuccessful you are, everyone manages to get good and precise holes with one of those.H Harald Blåtumme said:
