Not informed about slutbesiktning in advance
Hi everyone, I bought a Villa, which was newly constructed. The seller is also the builder of the villa. As per the contract, the slutbesiktning should be completed by 19 June, and the contract says that the inspector should be approved by both buyer and seller, though the seller will be paying for it. However, when I followed up with the real estate agent today, he’s now telling me that it was already done yesterday, and they missed informing me because somebody did not have notifications turned on in their phone. I am wondering what I should do now, any advice? Should I say I will not accept this report.
P.s, The inspection seems to have been done by a company called “Arsenalen” according to the broker.
I can also add that this broker has consistently been the worst when it comes to communication.
