New Home Purchase – Heaters Not Working, Seller’s Responsibility?
I recently bought a house and after moving in I discovered that 4 of the 8 heaters are not working. The home inspection took place in July, so the report did not include any details on the heating system due to the season. Prior to handing over in October, I checked the house with the seller who stated that the heaters had not gotten hotter because it was not cold in those rooms.
Should the seller be responsible for dealing with this issue, possibly through their insurance, or is it something I should handle on my own?

Can you be more specific with heaters? Do you mean radiators? What type of heating system do you have?A Aron1 skrev:I recently bought a house and after moving in I discovered that 4 of the 8 heaters are not working. Since there's too little information given, I'll assume a few things. Are you even sure there's an actual issue? If half of the radiators are working (assuming it's "water-carried" system, with a boiler), the problem is likely just thermostats that are stuck, clogged radiators, which is an easy fix.A Aron1 skrev:I recently bought a house and after moving in I discovered that 4 of the 8 heaters are not working.
