Kan jag göra elanslutningen själv och anlita en elektriker för besiktn
Hello,
I had to renovate a bit at home, and I'm pretty handy, but this is my first house. So I'm unfamiliar with the rules and limits of what I can do myself. For example, I plan to install some electrical connections for the dishwasher, frizzer and stove, which includes pull cables and vp pipes from some 16A sockets to the main fuse box and replacing old standard cables to FQ with earth included in another part of the house.
I would use Draka FQ-Pure 1.5mm2 for 10A and 2.5mm2 for 16A, Wago Splicing clamp and VP tubes.
My plan is to put everything from where I need it to right next to the fuse box and hire an electrician to do the final wiring. I also plan to leave all outlets and junction boxes open. So he can check that everything is installed correctly.
Do you think an electrician would accept that job?
I met someone who advised that it is sustainable in Sweden but not in Norway.
I know that most electrical work should be done by a certified electrician, but my finances don't allow me to hire an electrician for everything that needs to be done.
I would appreciate your time and response and any recommendations or pros/cons for doing this.
Many thanks,
Daniel

The short answer is no. The fixed electrical installations in a house must according to code/law be installed by an authorized electrical company.
It's highly unlikely that an electrician will verify and give a seal of approval for an installation done by you as a privat person.
Existing electrical sockets and switches are OK to replace as a layman.

Many electricians will "accept" that you do some work yourself, IF you consult them before, get advice on how they want it done, This IS illegal, so it is nothing you can demand that they do. But it is fairly common. Talk to a small company, they can be more flexible. My experience is to talk to a one man company, with an old electrician. An old guy is normally less "money hungry", if he is halfway to retirement anyway.

I contacted an electrician who came to see what needed to be done. I explained what connections were required and what I had planned. He agreed to inspect them afterwards and make the final connections in the fuse box.
He only requested specific brands of outlets and switches (Elko or Schneider). Not from Biltema or Jula. I already had VP pipes, Wago couplers and Draka FQ-Pure cable (1.5 and 2.5). So he didn't complain about it.
I feel a little skeptical about this. He accepted too quickly, I think. It was I who asked what else he wanted, how he wanted it, the height of the sockets, etc.
I have read about the standard (height, rules, things to avoid, etc.). I'm not sure where I can download/find these specific details.
