Hello all! I hope you can advice/help me (my apologies for the English).
We bought the house 3 years ago. The bathroom was renovated 5 years before. Today it's 8 year for bathroom renovation.
Recently we thought to change toilet and furniture in bathroom and when we took away the bathtub we found multiple cracks on walls tiles. It very visible under the bathtub, cause it's dirty there (I attached the photo, sorry for that ugly look). But the cracks exists on every walls, on the bottom side (around from the floor and 3 tiles above).
Some facts:
1. We are taking away the bathtub time to time to clean under that. Last time was in December, and there wasn't cracks (it would definitely be visible).
2. We did renovation last summer and one of the bearing wall on the same floor was replaced to beam.
3. The nearby area has a new building now, started from that year. The area located on top of the big rock, and we are located at the bottom of this rock. They are doing preparatory work, breaking the rocks itc a lot (I don't think that they use TNT, but the hummer). It located around 20m from our house and 10 m upper.
Insurance company requested besiktning. And my question is if it worth? If it bad tiles/bad renovation works 8 years ago I don't believe we can claim something. And besiktning cost money, don't want to waste it for nothing. Also don't want to get a bad relationship with new neighbors, but if they construction can impact?
Do you think what can give us that kind of cracks? I can not see anything specific in another parts of the house.
Very appreciate your answers!
