Hej!
I am a beginner so hope to get some advice how should I center my ceiling lamp.
Currently, the light position is not at the center of the dining table. And I saw there is something called förlängningsarm.
However, I have few wonders about that.
1. Does the arm fit this kind of light box?
2. Do I need to drill a hook at the correct position so it hold the lamp? or I can simply use the arm?
3. I found the förlängningsarmat clasholson but the lampprop doesnt fit my light box, it has to be flat feet. but at the same time the ceiling lamp only have 2 electronic cords of blue and brown. So i dont know if that fits the lampprop i found seperately and reconnect to that?
Sorry for a lot of question and might be not the most correct term i am using here.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

If you remove that round light box you currently have you should be able to fit the Långe Jan over the connections in the ceiling. The other option is to do as you suggest yourself and put a hook in from where you want to hang your lamp, that is up to your preferences.
If your lamp currently have a connection with just two cords (and works) that means that your lamp is not grounded. What you need is a DCL connector that is “ojordad” i.e. not grounded.
One could use one of the connectors you found as well, but that has the grounding pin (in the middle) and that wouldn’t be connected to anything, and it might trick someone that the lamp is grounded when it’s actually not.
But…
You can probably (hard to say for sure without seeing it) remove the connector from the lamp and use that to replace the connector on Långe Jan. The other end of the cable for Långe Jan is ment to be connected directly to the lamp, there is no connector there at all.

Be sure to know what you are doing, removing it will put live wires in the open, so make sure the fuse is off and make sure the power is really off before you do anything.J Jennie31 skrev:
If you don’t know, best let it be and put the Långe Jan on top or call someone that can.
