No, but you should choose type of wood carefully. I have never heard of color change. Parquette is better than tiles. Most houses built today have floor heating and most of us have wooden floors .
As far as I'm told, theere should be a plastic sheet under the wooden floor to prevent dry up the wood. At least that's the thing when putting wood floor on concrete with heating inside.
