Condensations around ventilation duck in cold attic

I have noticed this type of floor around ventilation duck in the cold attic; it seems the issue this there for some time ; I am confused if it is leakage of condensation; however I do not see any issue after traces coming from flashing area

Hard to tell what I see in the pictures...
However, it can be moist from either condensation or from leakage. It seems to be a joint between the steel plates where most water is so leakage from there perhaps, or just a coincidence...

If the duct contains warm air and the surrounding area is a cold attic the condensation would be on the inside of the duct, not on the outside.

My plan is to remove the floor and see around the source of moisture ! I will share the pictures
