Can you suggest a Skorstenshuv / Regnhuv ?

Hi,

Rain started falling directly through my chimney hole in recent days (fireplace chimney). It was not a problem in the last 3 years. I suspect that the chimney cap / rain cap was blown away by heavy wind. I never saw how the cap looked like.

Please see today's picture at the top of the chimney. The diameter of the chimney hole is 200 mm. The top of the metallic chimney is a little deep (may be 7 to 10 cm) in the cement block. What kind of chimney cap / rain cap fits this? Can it be DIY type work or I need a professional to fix? Please help!

The cost is at least a couple of thousand kronor. I don't know anyone in your area, but ask your neighbours if they can recommend a skilled sheet metal worker.

But I got a bigger chimney, fill the forms on the website and you should get a price.
You have to install it yourself.

But I got a bigger chimney, fill the forms on the website and you should get a price.
You have to install it yourself.
