Build a house within 7.5 M

Hi,
Currently we are planning to buy a plot in landvetter kommun for 3.5 million. That gives us the maximum budget of 4M kr to build a house. I have spoken to a house manufacturer company, but they give me a details price of 8 million kr. Somehow I get the feeling that they tried to rip-off me and my budget as much as possible.
Now my questions to all amazing people how can I build a nice modern house within 4 M kr.
Any suggestions!!!

Hi Jonatan, thank you for the warm welcome and for the information. We have looked at some prefabricated houses but somehow we didn’t find any modern house. Any idea where can we build this sort of house within 4 M kr.

The prefab houses are in my eyes not priceworthy! Hire a architect and make your own house, more bang for the bucks! Less middle hands and higher standards.

Great idea. Any idea after a Architect build a new house design, what kind of manufacturers company can build that kind of house. Is there is any list of those manufacturers whom I can reach and find out about the price?
