So, after a few hours it looks like this:

Extremely satisfied with the result!
The soot hatch, ventilation hatch, and the adapter to the stove seem to have stuck well👍
Now it needs to dry for a while before the next step, what do you usually paint with?
In the meantime, I'm going to start project "raise the stove" to fit it at the new height.
Looks very good, well done.
You should probably wait 1-2 weeks before painting, so it can dry properly.
The only paint I can suggest is paint for plaster.
For example, Alcro Puts, or similar.

Thank you so much!🙂
1-2 weeks, I hadn't really counted on that long. But of course, in some places, it's probably 2-3cm thick.
I had thoughts about maybe using kalkfärg, I painted the inside of a root cellar with it a number of years ago and it turned out well.
Perhaps acrylic would better cover up the flaws in my work up close?
Lime paint rubs off, and I don't really see any reason for it on gypsum plaster.
If it needs to breathe, then silicate is an alternative, although I'm not really sure how it works with gypsum plaster.
But silicate binds like hell to everything, so adhesion shouldn't be a problem.
Update:
The chimney is now painted and the stove installed.
In the end, it became regular wall paint.
I visited Måleributiken, which has been my go-to store when I've been unsure before. They aren't the cheapest, but so far they've always led me in the right direction.
On the advice of a stove installer, they had recommended regular wall paint for a number of years without complaints.
Said and done, after several fires I haven't seen anything that suggests it wouldn't work.
The only things that have happened are that it seems like the connection socket has bent slightly, probably because I had to raise the stove 4mm more than planned.
And a small crack has become visible by the damper control:
This I can absolutely live with!
Remaining now is how I should solve the painting of the metal connections to the unused channels, I forgot to mention them when I was in the store.
Clearly, I should have primed them before slapping on the wall paint, but I was so excited😇
The rust breakthroughs became noticeably weaker after layer 2, should one:
1. Slap on more layers until it covers?
2. Slap on a layer of primer on what's there before a final layer?
3. Brush off the existing paint before the primer?
I will get back with posts on how I fixed the stove and the air supply.
