demolish 1800mm load-bearing wall. who should calculate the beam
revive my old thread again, to once more try to find a good solution to my problem.
have checked various sites where you can calculate glulam beams, but there are none that offer suggestions for the type of work I need to have done. are there more sites?

For all the ones I have found that involve openings, they are all on the ground floor, mine concerns the upper floor, but I will try to call the municipality so they can come and check it out.
Then how to find one is another question
A small update, the wall is not load-bearing even though it is. 
Had a carpenter at home whom we might choose. He wanted to build braces further down on the rafters. Since the wall does not bear all the weight.
He wanted about 6000kr with rot.
