Yes, they should be properly :)
But then it was also to easily secure the first round with the blocks, first making sure they all stood upright and then we poured a little in each hole so they stood firmly before we started stacking the rest.

What kind of studs are you going to use?
Have you checked with a concrete supplier if they can deliver the mix recommended by CellplastDirekt?
I had to skip steel fiber...

I will use wood studs. Just need to make sure to keep them dry.
Yes, I will have some form of reinforcement in the concrete. I'm not entirely sure what I will use yet exactly.

How has the quality of your blocks been?
Have you heard that CellplastDirekt has been sold to BeWi?

Well, the quality was just fine, sure there were some that were a bit dented but it doesn’t really matter. Have you had worse problems with it?
Yeah, I got an email about them being bought out...

Yes, some blocks were from 2010 and parts of the block were "crumbly" (if you run your hand over it, it kind of falls apart) and a bunch were dirty and very chipped. On some, there were no "studs" left on top of the block, which makes it tricky to fit them properly. We had to go through all the blocks and sort out the ones we thought didn't look good, and then we asked for new ones. They sent out a truck, and we got a new pallet of blocks, only that the ones we got then looked almost worse than the ones we discarded. Then I got irritated, I haven't paid for any second-rate sorting directly. But now it's sold, and I don't know if I have the energy to fight that battle.

Tough! I myself returned about 30 klossar and got a credit note but I haven't seen any money yet. It might also be tricky with that now that it's sold. Have you had time to pour into the klossar now?

Have you had the chance to cast in the blocks yet?
Oh.. That didn't sound good.
Strange that you can't get whole and clean products when you still pay quite a bit for something that is so cheap to produce.
I've cast the first floor. This weekend we're going to tackle building the next floor and prepare everything to be able to cast it the following weekend.
Maybe it was the blocks you returned that I got then. Because they didn't look good.

Got paid for the credit now :)
What kind of heating system are you going to have?

FTX system it is. And then we'll have solar panels on the roof and a water-jacketed wood stove. What are you going to use yourself? How far along are you now?
It was nice that you got your money back.

I run with regular traditional underfloor heating with a NIBE F750. It seems to work pretty well, we've been living in the house for 2 months now.

Okay.. It will be interesting to see now as it gets a bit colder how the house manages, I suppose :)
Do you have any pictures from your construction? How long have you been at it? Single-story house?
Tomorrow we will be pouring the second floor of the house and hopefully the roof will be on before New Year's.

To Wik83 and empame! How do you sum up your constructions with building blocks, legolit, ekolit or whatever they are called now?
I think it looks incredibly exciting and will probably build my own passive house in Åre this summer with that material. Any obvious disadvantages that you have noticed over time? Do you have plaster on the outside? What would you have done differently?

Grateful for answers!

Fun! We built with "Cellplast Direkts" system and are completely satisfied with our build that has paneling on the outside. But if I build another house the same way, I will do the following differently/better:

Seal all joints with foam & tape (the foam sealant we use today doesn't seem 100% adequate to me) Be more meticulous when cutting out windows (it became difficult with the casings when we had been careless but it worked out anyway)
Lay out floor heating pipes in door openings

Small things but still :)
