Hej, Svenska är inte mitt första språk så jag kommer att fortsätta på Engelska, men du kan svåra på Svenska, att läsa är ingen problem alls.

I am trying to understand my 'ack tankar', in particular the blue one.

The red one is in use to heat the house, but the blue one is currently not being used, and used to function together with solvärme panels that have been removed by the previous owner. You can see the control unit for that is still there on the left side, but they do not connect to any panels and so that whole system including the blue tank are off.

If I were to reconnect solvärme panels to that control unit, would that work with the blue and red tanks or do some of the piping needs to change between them?

From what I can see the solvarme only ever outputs heat to the middle of the red tank, so I am not sure what the point of the blue tank is then? To store the return water from the house? But that return water also feeds into the red tank at the bottom?
Also the pipe marked in yellow I find strange, it bypasses the bigger main connection, is a narrow pipe, and goes from top of blue to bottom red?

I want to store as much warm water as possible within these 2 whenever solvärme is active. When there is no heat coming in from solvärme it should work with just the red tank.
Tack!

Looks like it's a tank for extra storage. When red is full, blue should start to fill with hot water. Not sure exactly how it's connected as we'd need more photos.
