We have just moved into a house and the previous owner left a TV mount. The question is whether it can support our 50" TV weighing 25 kg without us having to worry?

Does anyone recognize what kind of wall mount this is?
Never seen that type before. Is it a concrete wall? If so, there are no problems as long as the screws fit properly in the plug. I myself would have probably chosen a larger screw though.
The rail can handle it without any problem, the wall appears to be concrete/light concrete and if the plugging is done correctly it will definitely support the weight. If you are very unsure, you can hang a bit on the rail or load it with equivalent weight.
For those who want to know, it's a TV holder from IKEA called Uppleva Ormo, it's made for 60 kg and handled my TV brilliantly. First tested it by hanging 2 bags of 16 kg pellets overnight.
