Wainscoting - what type of wood have they used?

Saw this panel.
Can someone tell me what kind of timber they used and also which trim and cap rail?

Not exactly the same, but similar.

- Back piece made of board/masonite.
- Strips made of 10mm MDF, about 10cm, nailed on the outside in a desired grid pattern.
- 8mm quarter round inside the squares
- Top piece in planed pine
- Cove molding under the top rail as a "bracket"
