Log cabin of alpine model built in '79. Insulated with a freestanding inner frame. Interior walls and ceiling are detached from each other where the top beam against the ceiling is nailed with a margin of a few cm. The wall panels are not attached to the top beam and the ceiling glue is nailed to the ceiling so the frame can move vertically without anything cracking/breaking. The question is whether the frame has settled by now so that the panels can be attached all the way up to make a "tight" ceiling in the bathroom. Thoughts? Wooden interior of an alpine-style log cabin showing beams, insulation, and a cutout section for structural adjustments.
