Transparent material for climbing wall over window
Hello!
I'm in the process of building a climbing gym at home. The gym has 3 windows, and to allow some light in, I would prefer not to cover the windows with plywood panels. However, wall space is quite limited, so I can't leave the window openings as they are. My idea is to use some transparent material over the windows, instead of plywood like the rest of the climbing gym is covered with, which I can attach climbing holds to. It doesn't matter if it gets scratched and there's no view outside, as long as light comes into the gym. Holds are attached to threaded inserts that are placed from the back in pre-drilled holes. Therefore, the material needs to withstand being perforated with 8mm holes about 15 cm apart, as well as the load of climbing on the holds. Is there any material I could use for this?
