I am going to attach a ceiling molding to a tile wall and have no option to press it with anything other than my body ... how long do I need to stand and press it?
... it says that it adheres immediately but how fast is that?

use Alcos superfix instead, I think it works better, it adheres very quickly... depending on how long/heavy it is...

PL600 is not very fast. It is quite slow initially, so things that are not heavy or stressed can be released pretty much immediately.

But if it's about a ceiling moulding, I would probably try to support it from underneath with, for example, boards against the floor.

I have done such a thing once, although it was a short stretch. I cut a couple of supports, bracing them diagonally from the floor up to the moulding. To prevent them from slipping on the floor, I used double-sided carpet tape and attached a piece of rule to the floor as a brace. It worked even though it was a bit cumbersome.

In general, I have often used double-sided tape to assist in gluing.

I did something like that once, although it was a short distance. I cut a couple of supports, tightened them diagonally from the floor up against the molding. Aha ... smart!! That's what we'll do :-)
Thanks for the idea!

Had a meter of smyglist that needed to be secured... it fit perfectly right away so I think it would have been fine as is, but I added a good support as well according to the DIY enthusiast's smart idea.

Otherwise, you can use a few dots of hot glue to hold the material in place until the glue cures. I did this when attaching battens between the rafters to the masonite in the wind bracing when I built the air gap. The hot glue takes about 15 seconds to harden.
