Hello,

I live in a Myresjöhus from the early 50s, recently moved in and have some questions about tearing down a wall.

I want to tear it down according to the drawing and attached images. Trusses and planks (that are not parts of the trusses) are about 70x170 and alternate every 500mm. The attic above is unheated with a partially laid floor by the previous owner. A future FTX installation and using the attic as a cold storage are planned. So the attic still needs to be walkable.

The wall I want to tear down is about 2500mm long and extends from the chimney. The trusses are about 7.5m in length, and I'm a bit concerned about the length.

Do I need to brace since the wall might be load-bearing? When I look in the manual, I can't find my timber dimensions or trusses. Or is it possible that I'm completely fine?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Fredrik
