Hello!

We have a small cabin that has settled somewhat (the cabin is 10x5 m) and the foundation posts are a bit haphazard, though they are in all 4 corners and also under in some places.

The floor is a bit unsteady and I’m considering putting 5 pieces of 95x95 beams underneath with about 2 meters in between (I think that should suffice) and then having an adjustable post (see picture) as I assume this won't be the last time the cabin shifts, and then it will be easy to adjust a few mm.

Has anyone done something similar, or have better suggestions on stiffening the floor and foundation from the outside?

A couple of the posts that are already there tend to "sink in," and a reduction would probably do the trick.

But as stated, any tips and advice (with pictures) would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
