Sill under door frame on small shed

It is possible to do it both ways, but usually one cuts the sill. It also depends on what kind of floor construction is intended.

Hmmm.
I had planned to place the sill on the joisting and nail/screw the floor afterward inside the sill. In this description, the sill is placed on top of the floorboards.
What are the pros and cons of the different approaches? If I do as I had planned, I will have almost no threshold at all.....

It's probably simply easier and cheaper to place the sill on the floor. (It's more troublesome to do the opposite and lay the floor on the sill.)berg35 said:
If you do as you had planned, you have to arrange support for the floor inside the sill = extra framing.
